This is an introduction to Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud or Amazon EC2, a web service that provides secure, resizable compute capacity in the cloud. In this course, we provide an overview of the service and demonstrate how to build and configure an Amazon EC2 instance.

Course level is "Fundamental" and can be tackled in approx 10 minutes. Activities in this course includes video presentations.

This course is managed by the external partner AWS Training. To achieve your certification you will need to subscribe to their Academy platform in order to take advantage of this and other courses offered.

This is a preparatory course and will not issue you a certification, rather it will prepare you for the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner available at this link. Once you have finished the path, save in Jpg or Pdf format a proof of completion of the path. Then go back to this page of the course in Guilds42, to load it in the appropriate box and validate your skills. We will validate the completion and assign the score in the dashboard.
